Watch: Dope - 1999 (New Lyric Music Video)

Dope just released a lyric video for the track 1999 from their new album, Blood Money. Set to fast tempo drum beat and heavy guitars, singer Edsel Dope announces "Once I bled for a revolution/fueled by a life of crime/Did my part for evolution/Stood the test of time/Well I said Fuck it/Fuck It/And U said Fuck It/Fuck It/We all Said Fuck It/Fuck It/Hit me right between the eyes."


Blood Money is set to be released on Friday, October 28th and is Dope's first album since 2009. Ironically, the band first hit the rock charts in 1999 with their first album Felons and Revolutionaries. With the success of their first single Debonaire, and a cover of You Spin Me Round (Like a Record), Dope gained moderate buzz on the rock charts.

The new lyric video is the band's third track to be released since July.
