Watch: Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton Third Debate Cold Open

Saturday Night Live
funniest sketches are about to end for another couple years. The veteran sketch comedy show aired it's parody of the the third, and final, debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. And between "Bad Hombres" and "Nasty Woman", there was no shortage of material for this one.

Alec Baldwin continued his controversial portrayal of a gloomy, cynical Donald Trump while Kate McKinnon reprises her Hillary Clinton impersonation that she has almost mastered. McKinnon shined as the real star of the sketch, portraying a more agile, vicious version of the former Madame Secretary.

Chris Wallace (Tom Hanks) opened the debate sketch saying "Tonight is going to be a lot like the third "Lord Of The Rings" movie, you don't really want to watch, but hey, you've come this far." Hanks was star of this week's show, promoting the latest "Da Vinci Code" sequel.

After introducing both candidates, Clinton announced "In the first debate I set the table. In the second debate, I fired up the grill. And tonight, I feast." Maybe this is some of that media bias that Donald Trump is talking about? Indicating that Clinton won the previous two debates is very misleading, as most polls (outside CNN) show Hillary Clinton losing the second and third debates handedly.

Disinformation aside, where this sketch soared over the last debate sketch was with realist lines by both Clinton and Trump. "Chris, what he has just said is horrifying." said Clinton in response to Trumps refusal to accept a rigged result, "And that's why Americans have an important decision to make. Between the two of us, who do you trust to be your president? The Republican or Donald Trump?"

When SNL writers realize that only hardcore democrats see Hillary as a protagonist character, and not a corrupt politician, they might have a gold mine.
