Tucker Carlson Debuts To BIG Ratings; Draws More Viewers Than CNN & MSNBC Combined

Tucker Carlson took over the time spot formerly held by Megyn Kelly last Monday and he is not only beating his predecessor Megyn Kelly, but he is beating the ratings of fake news outlets CNN & MSNBC combined.

Tucker Carlson Tonight averaged 2.699 million total viewers, according to Accuracy in Media,  nearly beating the combined total of The Rachel Maddow Show (1.369 million) and the CNN Town Hall special (1.357 million) featuring Bernie Sanders. Carlson also beat The Kelly File ratings (this time last year) by 27 percent in total viewers and 45 percent in the 25-54 age demographic. 

This isn't the first time Carlson made ratings history. When his 7 pm show debuted, Fox News saw a 71 percent increase in viewership.
