Art of Anarchy have recorded new music with a frontman you might recognize. That frontman is Scott Stapp. The Creed vocalist was confirmed earlier this year and now Art of Anarchy have released their first new music with Scott Stapp on vocals. It's called The Madness.
Last year the band released music with Weiland on vocals. However, Weiland confirmed his relationship was a paid gig as he released an album of music with The Wildabouts. He was on tour with The Wildabouts when he died in December 2016.
Art of Anarchy members now include Scott Stapp (Creed), Bumblefoot (Guns 'N' Roses), brothers John and Vince Votta, and John Moyer (Disturbed). The new Art of Anarchy album is expected in 2017 and differs from the debut album as Scott Stapp is not just a paid performer brought in to do vocals parts.
Art of Anarchy guitarist Bumblefoot told Billboard Magazine, "We wrote together as a band and made sure that everyone’s identity can be heard. All the bands that inspired me have that – you can hear each member’s personality, a combination of ingredients that happens only once in all time – that realness, authenticity."
Bumblefoot also explained what to expect from Scott Stapp lyrically, "The lyrics describe personal challenges Scott overcame," said Bumblefoot, "giving a glimpse through his eyes as he describes the visuals and duality pulling you between ‘the madness,’ or the other side.”
Stapp had very public breakdown in which he proclaimed people were trying to kill him on random facebook videos. Stapp later told Rolling Stone that the "chemical balance in my brain was completely out of whack."
