Ted Cruz Win's GOP Iowa Caucus

Ted Cruz, the Evangelical Senator from Texas, has won the 2016 Iowa caucus. In a tiny surprise, second place went to Donald Trump, while Marco Rubio placed third, Ben Carson placed fourth, and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul placed fifth.

Rand Paul took to "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" instead of attending the Fox Business "undercard" GOP debate. The result was some talk of the economy, the middle east, and allot of Kentucky Bourbon.

Fox News Cuts Rand Paul From Main Republican Debate

Rand Paul, who is currently trailing four other candidates in the GOP presidential election, has been kept off the next main debate stage in favor of other underperforming candidates and will not be participating in the debate. Fox announced yesterday that they had selected Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, and John Kasich to participate on the "main stage" of the first republican debate in 2016.
