Seattle musicians Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, and Mike McCready (otherwise known as Temple of the Dog) released a new song in anticipation of the September re-issue of their 1991 self-titled debut and November 25th anniversary tour.

Chris Cornell has released a new music video for "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart". The video, which was released last week, coincides with his new album, "Hired Truth", which was released on September 18.

Soundgarden Working on New Music

Seattle Grunge Icons Soundgarden are reportedly working on new music. Chris Cornell told Rolling Stone that Soundgarden have been working on the music, despite the fact that Chris Cornell has a hit single ("Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart"), and new album ("Higher Truth")  being released this month.

Soundgarden reunited in 2010 releasing "King Animal" in 2012.
