System Of A Down

System Of A Down have reunited, according to pictures posted on Instagram. Drummer John Dolmayan posted a picture of System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian jamming from behind the drum kit. In the background, guitarist Daron Malakian can clearly be seen jamming on the guitar.

Not to be outdone, Shavo Odadjian would post a picture of  System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan jamming on the drums to Instagram. Both pictures are curiously hashtagged System Of A Down. Noticeably missing from the small practice space was singer Serj Tankian.

The group hasn't released anything since their massive 2005 double album Hypnotize/Mezmerize but have done two tours (in 2011 and 2015), along with sporadic festival dates. Are they planning another tour? Are they writing new music? Both? Only time will tell.
