Watch: Columbia House Commercial (circa 1993)

Columbia House
Columbia House is coming back! The company that use to advertise "8 CD's for 1 Penny" in magazines (with a five year contract) is soon going to be offering the same service featuring records. According the Wall Street Journal, the brand was recently scooped up from bankruptcy for one and a half million dollars by new owner John Lippman, who see's a market selling records, not CD's or DVD's.

It's been a long, hard road for the former entertainment giant since it's heyday in the mid-nineties. Media that was once bought, has became readily available for free on the internet, and Columbia House went from a billion dollar company to bankrupt in 2015.
